International Drone Football Referee and Coach Certification Examination Rules and Terms
I. Examination Structure and Grading Standards
Total score: 120 points
Passing standard: Total score ≥ 80 points, and the following two parts must reach the passing score at the same time.
Exam format:
Written test (60 points)
Contents: FIDA official rules, competition format, equipment standards, and safety guidelines.
Method: Online quiz system, questions are randomly selected.
Passing score: ≥ 36 points.
Practical refereeing (60 points)
Content: Watch pre-recorded match clips and receive real-time judgments on key moments (such as goals, fouls, offsides, etc.).
Method: All questions will be played uniformly, and answers will be provided in writing or using a quiz machine.
Passing score: ≥ 36 points.
II. Make-up Examination Mechanism
Scenario 1: Failing a single subject
If a student scores less than 36 points in any subject (written or practical), they will be given one free retake opportunity, and will only need to retake the subject they failed.
Scenario 2: Failed the make-up exam or absent from the first exam
You can apply for a retake, but you will need to pay an administrative fee of HKD $280 per attempt.
The make-up exam will be scheduled separately, in principle with the next training course, or arranged online (written exam) / at a specific time (practice).
III. Issuance of Certificates
Those with an attendance rate of no less than 80% will be awarded a physical copy of the "FIDA Drone Soccer Level 1 Referee/Coach Course Completion Certificate".
Trainees who pass the assessment will be awarded an "FIDA Level 1 Drone Football Referee/Coach Certificate" (electronic version), officially recognized by FIDA and issued by ICH HK.
The relevant information will be entered into the FIDA Hong Kong Talent Pool as proof of their professional qualifications.
